MF-tape : multifilamentary tape

This is our advanced NanoPolished 3D profile-substrate, which is utilized for direct production of filamentized superconductor tapes

Specifications

  • Standard filament widths: 0.3 – 2mm (for alternative widths optional short length pieces are now available, down to 25µm width)
  • Standard widths: 4mm and 12mm
  • Standard thickness: 50-100µm (please contact us for alternative thickness)
  • Hastelloy-based (C276 or others including Ni-W is optional)
  • Final surface roughness: Ra~3nm
  • Standard Single Tape length: 1km (capacity up to 2km)

+SUBRAs MF-tape can be employed directly in commercial coated conductor production systems+

NP-tape: Nano-polished tape 

This is our high quality NanoPolished substrate which a ultra-smooth surface finish, for production of high performance superconductor tapes

Specifications

  • Standard widths: 4mm and 12mm  
  • Standard thickness range: 50-100µm (please contact us for alternative thickness)
  • Hastelloy-based (C276 or others including Ni-W is optional)
  • Final surface roughness: Ra~3nm (SUBRA Nanopolish+ process soon available with Ra<1nm)
  • Standard tape length 1km (capacity for 2000m single piece sections)
